As Channel & Business Development Coordinator, your focus will be to expand Raven’s visibility, manage channel relationships, and widen our areas of expertise across the Canadian marketplace. You will assist the sales team in developing their pipeline, through effective use of Salesforce, Outreach, and other marketing platforms, preparing quotes and sourcing new opportunities. Another primary function of your role is to be the main liaison with our technology partners – deal registrations, marketing events, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- External facing with prospects, clients, and procurement vehicle partners
- Maintain client & prospect relationships (marketing, upcoming business, RFPs, partner levels/certs, vehicle updates etc.)
- Following up with clients after a completed engagement to ensure client satisfaction, to maintain relationships and to cultivate additional business – maintain contact (minimum levels established); update our CRM with relevant details
- Contact outdated clients to reengage and source out new product/ services opportunities; update our CRM with all relevant contact and details
- Ensure our CRM is regularly updated: Assist individual sales team member in maintaining the CRM through weekly meetings (won/lost business, new clients, etc.) and following up as required
- Monitor daily and use procurement portals to find new opportunities (Merx, Bravo, Buy & Sell, etc.); ensure that, if away from office, reallocate to someone to take over in your absence
- Research potential prospects based on new technologies in the market and current client opportunities/requirements; engage technical specialists to confirm suitability
- Assist with event coordination: location rental, event set up and take down, client invitations, reminders, attendee list, technology requirements, presentation content, collateral, give-aways, maximize co-op funds, etc.
- Develop and maintain relationship with procurement vehicle holders to understand rate structure, grids, submission requirements in order to minimize time delays for client requirements
- Expand our existing consultant database in specific areas for piecemeal work as dictated by clients needs
- Coordinate partner input into Raven proposals (technical response, OEM forms, pricing, etc.) and QA as needed
Requirements:
- 3 – 5 years of experience in B2B business development, preferably in a staffing/recruitment organization
- Experience using databases & familiar with current social media/ marketing tools
- Post-secondary education in commerce, business administration or marketing
- Bilingual in French & English an asset
